Today we had our essay test on plants,
An AP free response on angiosperms:
"What is their mode of reproduction like?"
and "How do seeds disperse and gametes fuse?"
(actually iambic pentameter this time)
There's this song I've kept
About plants that I'd written
Way back freshman year.
I want to finish,
And maybe add melody.
Here it is so far:
As I sit here in my garden abode,
inhaling carbon dioxide,
Water is siphoned through my roots
as my stomata are open wide.
But even these two molecules aren't enough
on this dark and dreary night;
I patiently wait for the morning to dawn,
'cause I know I can't live without light.
You are the light to my photosynthesis.
I feel warmth under your rays.
Although I miss you during the nights,
You easily brighten my days.
If you have advice,
Please, please feel free to comment.
I'm out of ideas.
