I've had some melt downs
Pretty frequently from stress.
It's been a bad month.
Huge disappointments,
60 on a physics test,
MIT deferred...
Due to emotions
I haven't been the nicest
To those who matter.
Well, I even risked
Getting my laptop thrown out
The kitchen window.
I worked it all out.
It wasn't easy, but I
Learned that I really
Needed to rearrange my
Own priorities in life.
Putting my ducks in order:
(Or paper cranes to
Stay consistent with the
Japanese verse theme)
Health, Happiness, Family, Friends, Work
I must note that "work"
is last on the list.
